First never tell your feelings over the phone or a text. A young lady always likes to read the eyes and the face expression to know if that is really how you feel. I would not wait til the next school year. If I was you, I would try to get the cousin to set up a hang out time. Or see if you can get her number and try to hang out. You never want to wait, go for it now, otherwise most chicks do not stay single for long. Get it out about the feelings, if she has the same about you, then your meant to hang out and become more, if not then at least you will never look back wondering whatever happened to your high school crush.. & at least in the long run you may cont to be acquiantences or friends.
