If something works, does that imply it's right?

Nothing is absolutely right (there is no objective standard) and correctness is subjective. The manner of their speech is correct for them, even though it technically violates the spelling rules established. But who dictated that 'spelling' is spelled as 'spelling' and not 'speling'? It was the framer of the word and resulted of his own subjective choosing. But collective agreement to abide by the chosen spelling still doesn't mean they are *correct*. Everything is subjective. So yes, if something works for you, it's 'right' for you.
